Members can reserve private meeting and event spaces for both intimate and large-scale events, as well as having access to premier reciprocal clubs located throughout the country and abroad.

Despite our moniker, which honors our club founders, The Engineering Society of Baltimore is not just for engineering professionals. Membership is open to qualifying professionals from all disciplines and applicants are not discriminated by gender, sexual orientation, race, color, or religion.

In addition to year-round dining, social events, and reciprocal club access, Members of The ESB may reserve 17 different Member spaces of the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion for personal and professional use. The ESB hosts countless member social events all year round including holiday parties, Wine and Literary Societies, elegant balls & dances, banquets and more. The Club and our members ensure the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion is buzzing with energy on a nightly basis - a fitting tribute to the landmark's history.

Application & Process

The ESB has expanded programming, an active capital campaign, and an optimistic future. Prospective members are invited to apply now. All applicants will be reviewed by our Board of Directors on a monthly basis - and following approval new members join on the first of the month.
