About The ESB

THE CLUB FOR ALL PROFESSIONALS

Located in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore sits the historic and prestigious Garrett-Jacobs Mansion - home of The Engineering Society of Baltimore, the city's oldest private social club. Successful and aspiring professionals from all disciplines enjoy private meeting and event spaces, lively club-hosted social events, and fine dining within the walls of the crown jewel of Baltimore's gilded age. The ESB are gracious custodians of The Mansion, dedicating time and resources to the preservation and restoration of our city's historic landmark.

The ESB moved headquarters a few times, including a 35 year stint in the Bickford Building, before eventually purchasing the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion from the City of Baltimore in 1963, with the goal of restoration and preservation of the gilded age landmark.
